I know I just posted, but this could not wait.
I am always bragging about how smart Jake is, so it is only fair that I share with you some of his genius.
Today he got in the car after school and was SO excited to share with me what he did at writing center today. He swore I would find it to be hilarious! Laugh out loud funny! I was eager to see this comical masterpiece, as he pulled it from his backpack and proudly handed it over. Here it is! Get ready for funny!
Just in case you missed the punchline ...
Haha, hoho, hehe, isn't that just so funny? (!!!) We had a nice chat about what is appropriate for school, and what Daddy thinks is funny. Proving my point, when I showed this to Matt, he laughed and said, "That's a keeper!"
Imagine my pride!

Good spelling Jake! (What else can I say???)
Well, at least this "masterpiece" came home and was not posted on the wall for all to see at open house! Could be worse...
All I saw at first was "I like wolves" but when I scrolled down, I couldn't stop laughing. Good thing I wasn't in the car. That is pretty funny though, but what's up with Miss M.'s hot pink marker?
That is funny. I wonder what his teacher thought. Boys.
Jake needs to come and spend some time with the Horn Boys, who all (read that, ALL) think bodily functions are HILARIOUS.
HAHAHA!
Why do men/boys love anything pertaining to farts or poop? Jay is the same way!!!

That is so funny! You can tell his teacher that this is totally higher level thinking. He is making applications because he has probably never actually witnessed a wolf farting, but he has inferred the whole phenomenom.
My 7 year-old thinks this is the best.
Erin, I am with you. I am actually going to type out that excuse - err, explanation - to keep for future use.
Inferred the phenomenon, haha!!!
