To all bloggers, commenters and lurkers ...
I sent this email around, and thought it would be worth posting on the blog...
Hi everyone! I just thought I would pass this around. A local family that is linked to our church's preschool is going through a double nightmare. Their baby boy, Hudson, was diagnosed with brain cancer a while back; certainly every parent's worst fear. He underwent treatment and began showing great progress. Just as things were looking up, the family received more devastating news - their daughter, Abella, also had two brain tumors. She has recently started treatment for the cancer.
The family's story can be found on the following website ... http://hudsonandabella.org/ . The OC Register also ran a story on them a couple of weeks ago, which can be found here...http://www.ocregister.com/ocregister/homepage/abox/article_1654397.php
I spoke with the director of the preschool, who keeps in touch with the family, and she told me that what they need most right now is financial help. If you are interesting in contributing, you can do so through their website.
I can't begin to imagine what this family is going through. Even if you are not able to donate, please keeps them in prayer. Feel free to forward this email, as I'm sure they could use any help they can get. Thanks!
Check out the family's website ... I can't even imagine one of my babies getting cancer, but two?! Please think about helping. You can also copy and paste the email, and send it to those in your address book. Thanks!

Well, crap. This really puts things in perspective, now doesn't it.
We all whine and complain about things, but really...
Things could be much worse. Much, much worse.
What a nice family.
Will be sending a donation...
We heard this story on the news. Didn't the dad have cancer, too? Heartbreakingly sad.
This is so sad. I can't even imagine. It breaks my heart to think about it.
I can't believe that could happen to one family. Why are some people faced with such huge, difficult trials? So sad, but nice that people are lending a hand.
Alright, if I see "Lend a Hand" the next time I click on your blog, I'm going to "lend a finger" in your direction until you post something new!
Please laugh. That was funny. Har har har! How was the deep dish?
Are my comments going to be sent to the publisher with your blog?
Please post something new.
I am with Robyn! UPDATE THE BLOG! Where is the fabulous "I have the best mother" Mother's Day entry?
Um, yeah. Update already. Your posts are the best.
