Today I had an ultrasound appointment at the specialist's office. When they did an ultrasound a couple of months ago, the nuchal measurement was kind of big, so they wanted to do a fetal echo cardiogram to see the risks of heart defects. (We already got the blood results back that go with the NT scan, and those were fine - yea!) Anyway, I mention this because as I was waiting in the office, I could hear one woman on the phone talking to someone suffering from recurrent miscarriages. I wasn't eavesdropping, per say, but it was sad. Then, a couple walked into the office and the woman burst into tears. No one is in this office because their pregnancy is going super normal. It made me feel so thankful for my two healthy crazy kids at home, and the little BOY (for sure) who is growing inside me. We should never take smooth pregnancies for granted. My ultrasound went well, and I get to have another one in four weeks so they can do the echo then; I guess it was too early right now. I am just relieved that everything looks good so far.
Okay, so this poor child will never have a name. We cannot decide. Jake was Jake about two months in to being pregnant, and Grace was Grace before she was even conceived. I still can't sell Matt on the name Nathan. Please give some feedback and let us know what you think...
Ben, Seth, Mark, Sawyer (like on LOST-haha!), Ian, Micah, Brett, Mc Hooligan, Harry Hobson, Mario, Luigi, Chewbacca. That list includes some of Jake's top picks as well. I don't even really LOVE any of those names. Waaaah! Help! ... Great. Matt just told me his top picks are Quagmire and Stewie. Gee, I wonder why we are having such a hard time. Input?

By the way, a nurse from L&D (with a name similar to mine, wink wink)came up to log some ultrasound hours while I was in there. She was VERY friendly and chatty. I asked her if she knew you, Jen and Tonya. She said, "OhTonya hasthe mostbeautifulkidsandshe justcutherhair, haveyouseenherhair?" and "Jenisworkingrightnow, Ijustpassedher!" (She spoke quickly.) I just wanted to let you know that I am riding my knowledge of you both all the way to the biggest delivery room with the best view and a fridge. Thanks girls!
I am so glad it went well! I called you this afternoon but you didn't answer..........................that's okay though.
You are lucky that you get to have all these ultrasounds so you can see your baby all the time.
I honestly like Mario. I'm serious. Jake really wants it. He is always telling me about how much he likes that name.
Luigi? No. Micah? Um..what, you asked!! Ben is great. I once dated a guy named Ben and he was nice.
There is a boy in my ward named Sawyer and he's really cute. He has long hair (the EMO) and actually kind of looks like Sawyer from the show I don't watch anymore as of tonight.
But don't pick a name based on someone you know with that name. I'm just kidding around about that stuff. Whatever you choose will be the right name.
I LOVE Christa. She is so awesome. A REALLY good nurse, too.
I had to go "upstairs" for ultrasounds every 4 weeks and testing TWICE a week for 5 weeks. It is an interesting place to be. I always felt so guilty for having such a normal pregnancy sitting in that waiting room. Oh, well. Not my fault, I guess. But still.
I'm SO glad things went well yesterday. Such a relief, huh?
Okay, names. I'm with Robyn and like Ben and Sawyer. I do like Brett, too. Names are so hard. What ever you choose will be perfect.
That's all she had to say about me, that she passed me? Whatever Cristy K! I'll put a good word in for you for the big room and the window!
My vote is for Micah....mmmm, no maybe Mc Holligan!HAHAHA
Oh it was Christa? Oops!
