We took the kids to see Santa Claus at the M.V. mall. Grace was pretty timid, at first; but when we mentioned that Santa was going to bring her presents for Christmas, she couldn't get on his lap fast enough. I think she asked for a bunny or a bear. It changes weekly. I hope Scary Wishes Dora is still on her list. (See the doll, and understand the name...have any of you seen the Twilight Zone with Talky Tina?...)
Jake. Oh, Jake. He does not play video games that much, but we do let him play on a demo Matt got in a magazine. It is a Lego Star Wars video game. HE CANNOT STOP TALKING ABOUT IT. The other day I was taking him to school, and he talked about this game the whole ride. We parked, still going. I reached back and unbuckled his seatbelt, still going. I actually pushed the button that opens the door and tried to push him out, I honestly could not hear another thing about Wookies. Anyway, I am going to go out on a limb and say that he is asking for a certain video game...
They've been pretty good, so I hope Santa is good to them. :)

Yay! I love the Santa photos! Have you been milking the "you better watch out, you better not cry.." angle? I used to use it all the time. You and your brother always behaved just little better in the weeks leading up to Christmas! You didn't want to blow it!
I am sure that Jake is talking about Star Wars - I see a bit of the "glazed look" in Santa's eyes.
As for the Scary Dora....remember that pellet gun that dad got last year? Target practice!
I love christmas time. You are such a good Mom. You are always doing such fun things with you kids. I'm the worst. I haven't taken Taylor to sit on Santa's lap. Does it cost money? Or is that only if you want a picture taken? She would probably freak out anyways.
What is this scary wishes dora doll you are talking about? What are these toy companies up to now.
I still remember the picture of Grandma Melinda taken at age 2 in Santa's lap screaming her lungs out, reaching desperately towards the camera for rescue, with her panties showing . . . . Wish I had it. . . .
I HAVE THE PHOTO, and it will never see the light of day. Hmm...I also have some "Catwoman" teenage ME photos, wearing those oh so flattering bermuda shorts that were all the rage...hmmm, now were did I put those? I have a scanner now....heh, heh, heh...
