Yesterday I had my first photo shoot appointment. Okay, so that sounds a little too hoity toity; it was really just me hanging out with my friend, Robyn, taking a bazillion pictures and praying that something, anything, would come out printable. It is HARD to figure out lighting! I did not realize how much thought goes into shadows, highlights, lowlights, midtones, blah diddy blah blah. It also did not help that I had the camera on the wrong setting for the first twenty minutes. Oops! Thank goodness for my second marriage to Photoshop. Here are some favs...
You can see that Trent just hated the camera and was completely miserable the whole time.
And my favorite picture of all ... Jenna summed up how we all felt by the end of the shoot.

Those turned out soooooo cute! You did a great job! Jenna is so pretty.
Also, Jenna has been going cross-eyed all day. I think the flash may have caused some retinal damage.

Great job Christie! They turned out fantastic! I'm going to a photography class tonight actually. I'm excited to learn some tricks. I've always loved photography. You totally captured Trent's personality too!
