As I was working on this, I thought I remembered my friend Jen putting a picture of her daughter's nursery on her blog. Wanting the sil to at least be in the same color scheme, I went back in her blog archives to hunt down the picture.
I never found the nursery photo. But as I flipped from month to month I started getting a little choked up. There is nothing like the ease of clicking through blog archives to remind you of how fast time flies. Pictures of pregnant Jen - click! - pictures of new Makena - click!- pictures of Makena crawling - click! - post about when Jen actually won a giveaway on The Pioneer Woman's blog (so that is not sentimental, but c'mon, it's pretty cool) - click! - Makena turns one. Sometimes that's how I feel about my kids. Click, click, click, and they're seven. Or four, or eight months. My prayer is that I remember this enough to show more patience with my little brood.

Christieeeeeee!!! I am seriously crying!!! That is so beautiful. I love it. You are the best ever. I'm so grateful to have you as my friend (and not just because you do things like this for me).
The pink is perfect and it will go lovely in her room. Thank you so much! And thanks for the Shout sister. I feel like time is flying for me also. It's tough to think about that when you feel like you're losing your mind. You are a great mom though, and I can tell your kids adore you and appreciate all the fun things you do for them.
The PW win was pretty sweet. You should try for them too. She gives such cool stuff now.
