Would you be freaked out if your baby looked at you like this?
And he grabbed a tube of lipstick and whispered, "reeeeedruuum...?"

It could have happened.

Moving on, this is how this week went...

Monday night: Hmm. We didn't have a very good day today. Oh well, tomorrow will be better.

Tuesday night: (slight chuckle) That's weird. Two bad days is a row. For sure tomorrow will be better.

Wednesday night: (-silence-)

Thurday night: Somebody rescue me from the claws of torment and agony called motherhood before I die a slow and miserable death!!!

Tonight will probably sound like this: Slurrrrr ....... I loooooooove yooooooou ... hiccup!
(To all my LDS friends, I am just kidding. To my non-LDS friends, and my mom, not really.)

All that said, tomorrow I shall be rewarded for my suffering! We are going on a date! Not only that, but guess where we are going on Saturday! Saturday! Saturday! Saturday! ...

That's right, tiny dancer, we are going to see Elton John! Yippee! My friend new best friend received free tickets at work but couldn't attend, so she gave them to us. We are sooooo excited! Elton John epitomizes rock n roll with his timeless masterpieces and funky edge. He is the new king of rock.

Okay, so maybe I wasn't really a fan until someone said we could see him for free. So what if I became a bigger fan when she said we can sit on the club level which means there will be food. And who cares if the song Bennie and the Jets gets on my nerves so bad, because, for crying out loud, stop screeching, "Bennie!" he probably heard you the first time!

Because I am now Elton John's #1 fan! I am going to play Matt's EJ hits over and over until I know them by heart, and then I will belt them out tomorrow night. I know Matt is going to have his brown socks knocked off by my renditions of Candle in the Wind and that song from the Lion King. Off to rehearsal ... have a good weekend!

You are going to have so much fun! You will have to take the camera and post pictures!

A before and after photo of Grams and Gramps after watching ALL THREE kids might be "entertaining too"...
