Here in the Hobson House we are always striving to teach character to our children, instilling a sense of gratitude, truthfulness, and prayerfulness, among other good qualities. These parenting skills are certainly paying off, as we saw tonight when Jake asked if he could say a special grace over our dinner...
"Dear Lord, thank You for Mommy, Daddy, Grace and Grandma.
And thanks for making her buy me that Batman thing. Amen."

Hysterical!
You know..........I DID feel some sort of "force" guiding me down the toy aisle at Walmart.........hmmmmmmmmm....
Just a reminder...Jake insisted on wearing his Batman pajamas to Auntie Rob's house last week. Also, read Dana's blog and comment on it now. And invite her to read yours. She wants to but not without an invitation. I'll give you her blog address later or do you already have it? I wrote a pretty good response today. It's one of my finest....and I did use a line that you gave me about Wilson from Home Improvement. I just wanted to give you credit.
I like your blog. I need to figure out how to post links, etc. Mine is so boring.
I can't wait until Taylor is old enough to say prayers that I will actually understand. For now, she just knows how to fold her arms and close her eyes. Of course she doesn't stay in that position long enough for the prayer to end.
Cute post.
PLEASE post another blog. Talk about your night out, the Discovery center. I can give you material. Just call me!
Looks like it's inconceivable to Jake that his mom would ever do anything nice for him without divine intervention.
Very telling...
